Vacancy Logistics employee (38 hours)
Are you looking for a versatile position and do you like to be active? Then read on quickly. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Logistics Assistant for 38 hours per week. In this role you will be the beating heart of our logistics process and ensure that everything runs smoothly, from transporting goods to taking care of order picking.
What will you do?
Presscon invents and develops innovative nitrogen and compressed air solutions that advance our customers. Thus, nitrogen can be used for various purposes, such as protecting (buffer) tanks, preventing a possible fire and extending the shelf life of products. We are also active in the beer brewing and geothermal industries.
As a Logistics employee, you will pick up goods or take away goods with one of our own trucks. So you are regularly on the road, but also in our own warehouse there are versatile tasks available to you. Sometimes you are helping customers at our counter or preparing orders. No day is the same, but of course there is regularly time for a cup of coffee with your colleagues.
Your responsibilities include:
- Transportation: dropping off and picking up goods from customers and suppliers with our nice truck.
- Loading & Unloading: The efficient and safe loading and unloading of trucks.
- Shipping Preparation: Packing, checking and preparing goods for shipment.
- Warehouse Management: Optimizing storage facilities, sorting and stowing goods and identifying inventory shortages.
- Order Picking: Taking care of order picking and helping customers at the counter.
- Recycling & Damage Handling: Handling transportation damage and recycling and disposal of materials within the company.
Job Requirements:
- Driving license C and B (CE and BE is a plus!)
- Forklift Certificate
- Several years of experience within the logistics industry is a plus
