PEC controller compressor control system

The premise of the Presscon PEC controller is to deliver constant press pressure and flow rate as efficiently as possible. The controller does this by looking at the flow rate being taken, taking into account compressed air pressure in this, and knowing when a compressor is most energy efficient.

By knowing as precisely as possible how much compressed air is needed, it also becomes possible to control the compressor very precisely and reduce or even virtually eliminate the difference between the desired compressed air and cut-in pressure. The PEC controller can be used for virtually any type of compressor. For example, the system can operate with compressors that are turned on or off at a fixed power, have a variable frequency or operate at multiple speed stages.

In its control, the Presscon PEC controller takes into account such things as post-rotation time, power consumption at zero load, prohibited resonant frequencies, running hours and important factors affecting energy consumption. Because each compressor has its own PEC compressor controller, it is also possible to use the control of the PEC controller to control multiple compressors that are in different locations but belong to the same compressed air network.
