Presscon precision oxygen sensor

Precision oxygen sensor (oxysensor)

Our high-precision oxygen sensors with a unique compensation mechanism are designed and manufactured entirely in-house. This complete control over the production process allows us to perfectly tailor our products to the specific needs and requirements of our customers.

How does an oxygen sensor work?

An oxygen sensor measures the oxygen content in a gas mixture or in air. The sensor converts the measured amount of oxygen into an electrical signal, which can then be read or used in a control system.

What exactly does an oxygen sensor do?

  • Detects oxygen concentration – in air and/or nitrogen, for example.
  • Ensures safety – by alerting, for example, when oxygen levels are too low in confined spaces.
  • Controls processes – in industrial applications, where accurate oxygen balance is required.

Applications include:

  • (Process) industry
  • Laboratories
  • Medical equipment
  • Storage rooms and data centers (in fire prevention via oxygen reduction (LOX))
  • Greenhouse horticulture
